Rencontre des membres avec le Conseil à Ottawa

Chers amis,

Durant le weekend du 12 – 14 octobre 2013, les membres du Conseil de la Société anthroposophique au Canada se réuniront à Ottawa. Nous invitons chaleureusement les membres à se joindre à nous pour une soirée de conversation et de travail ensemble, le lundi 14 octobre de 19 h – 21 h dans la salle de la maternelle : « Moon Garden Room » de l’école Waldorf de Stittsville.

Nous aimerions vous entendre parler de vos initiatives anthroposophiques dans la région d’Ottawa, et nous partagerons brièvement quelques aspects du travail du Conseil. Nous souhaiterions ensuite entreprendre une démarche avec vous en vue d’une éventuelle reformulation des buts et objectifs de la Société, comme vous avez pu le lire dans un article du bulletin qui a suivi la tenue de notre AGA.

Voici la déclaration des objectifs de la Société telle qu’elle parait dans le document de 1953 :

a) Promouvoir et favoriser la science de l’anthroposophie et la diffusion de ses principes selon les enseignements de Rudolf Steiner, et par là promouvoir et favoriser le développement de la fraternité humaine et la vie morale, culturelle et artistique de l’humanité.

b) Conclure les accords nécessaires ou souhaitables pour faciliter l’utilisation des revenus et du capital de tout fonds créé par ou pour la corporation dans le but de favoriser l’étude ou la diffusion de la science de l’anthroposophie et assurer une réalisation plus efficace des objectifs de la corporation.

Nous vous proposerons une conversation dirigée, en petits groupes, pour voir s’il est nécessaire de modifier cette déclaration des objectifs et pour voir quelles pourraient être ces modifications si nous voulons que cette déclaration reflète le mieux possible les buts et objectifs de notre Société telle qu’elle existe en 2013. Lors de notre AGA à Montréal nous avons vécu une conversation fort animée, style « bistrot », qui a permis le partage de nos idées, et nous aimerions reprendre la même expérience avec les membres d’Ottawa.

Nous avons hâte de vous rencontrer le soir du 14 octobre.

Meeting With Members In Ottawa - October 14, 7 to 9 pm

Dear Friends,

Over the weekend of the 12th, 13th and 14th of October, the Council Members of our Canadian Anthroposophical Society will meet in Ottawa. The Council would like to warmly invite members to join us for an evening of conversation and working together, on Monday Oct. 14, from 7 to 9 pm at the Ottawa Waldorf School in Stittsville, in the kindergarten 'Moon Garden' room.

We would like to hear from you of anthroposophical initiatives in the Ottawa area, and briefly share with you some aspects of the council’s work. Then we would like to engage with you in a process to work with the purpose or goal of the Society, as outlined in the newsletter following on the AGM.

The following is the statement of purpose in our charter, from 1953:

a) to promote and foster the study of the science of Anthroposophy and the dissemination of its principles, according to the teachings of Dr.Rudolf Steiner, and thereby to promote and foster the development of human brotherhood and the moral, artistic and cultural life of humanity;

b) to enter into such trust arrangements as may be necessary or desirable to enable the use of the income and capital of such trust fund or funds as may be created by or for the Corporation for the study and propagation of the science of Anthroposophy and the more effective carrying out of the objects of the Corporation.

We propose to engage in a guided conversation, in small groups, to see if changes need to be made to the statement of purpose, and what those might be, in order to better reflect the current goals and purpose of the Society in 2013. At the AGM in Montreal we experienced a lively “café conversation” style of sharing our thoughts and would like to use the same process with members in Ottawa.
